Val "Ms. Vee" Ho
Val "Ms. Vee" Ho has been dancing since the age of 5 when her mom, director of a Chinese folk dance company, threw her onto the stage. She danced in her mom's company, the Strathcona Chinese Dance Company based in Vancouver, Canada, for the better part of her life which allowed her to train in China and perform throughout the world. To stay connected to the roots of her heritage and her roots in dance, she is still involved in the training of the dancers and artistic direction of the company.
In 1988, she fell in love with Hip Hop music and dance instantly. Starting with the party dances of the late 80s and early 90s, she then discovered the dances that came before them - breaking, locking and popping. Vee has since been on a never-ending quest to master this dance, which eventually brought her to New York City. This passion follows her today and on her journey here she was blessed to have trained with renowned pioneers of the dance such as Mr. Wiggles, Buddha Stretch, Popin Pete, Skeeter Rabbit, Greg Campbellock Jr., and other greats as well.
Alongside her journey in Hip Hop, Vee has also trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern/contemporary, martial arts (Wushu, Choy Lee Fut & Karate), swing and salsa. Ms Vee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics (Kinesiology) and a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Ms. Vee’s film Credits include: Step Up 3D, College Road Trip, and Deep Rising. Stage credits include: Groovaloo: Freestyle (Off Broadway), Rennie Harris’ Legends of Hip Hop (Off Broadway, US & International Tour), Mop Top’s 20th Anniversary Reunion. Ms. Vee has been on the Broadway Dance Center Faculty since 2004, recently joined Peridance faculty, and travels throughout the US, Canada and the world teaching Master classes and workshops.

Richard Maguire
Richard Maguire was born in New Rochelle, NY where childhood hyperactivity would eventually cause Richie’s mother to enroll him in the local YMCA gymnastics program. At 13 years old, upon invitation, Richie left his family to train full time at the International Gymnastics School in Pennsylvania. His talents won him a full athletic scholarship at Temple University in Philadelphia where he studied Marketing while participating and winning a number of conference championships for the school. It was during this time that Richie was exposed to the world of B-boying. He initially focused on flairs, mills, and swipes and had no clue what the dance was about. After being labeled “nothin but a gymnast white boy,” by a few of Philly’s more accomplished b-boys, Richie decided to learn the culture and discover the dance. He bought VHS tapes from skate shops that showed him b-boying mixed in with skating, and graffing. Night clubs would eventually become his training ground.
In 2004 Richie hung up his gymnastics grips and entered the world of b-boy performing. Cast from a worldwide audition, he went on to be a key contributor and original member of Le Reve, directed by Franco Dragone (Cirque du Soleil). A herniated disc and a shoulder surgery would effectively end his time as a member of le Reve. An exhaustive regiment of self-lead rehab would slowly begin the healing process, but determination and a hunger to return to dancing and acrobatics overtook his pain. His recovery was slow but eventually Richie healed and met the members of Full force and Super crews, of which he would eventually become a member.
More recently, Richie was a principal performer in “ID” by Cirque Eloize and appeared in Hephaestus at the Looking Glass Theater in Chicago. In addition, Richie has appeared on SNL for roughly 10 seconds and has performed alongside Neil Young, Chaka Chan, N.e.r.d., T.I., and M.I.A, and for two years represented the American Heart Association in its hands only CPR campaign.
